Rules for using Zybrarium

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Zybrarium, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts and access

You are responsible for activity under your account.
Provide accurate account and profile information.
Keep login credentials secure and sign out on shared devices.
Accounts for children should be created and managed by a parent, guardian, educator, or other authorized adult.
We may use Firebase authentication and Zideons SSO to verify access and assign roles such as admin access.

3. User content

You are responsible for books, images, comments, and other content you submit.
You grant Zybrarium permission to host, process, and display submitted content as needed to operate, improve, secure, moderate, and provide the service.
Content shared publicly in the library, ratings, and reviews may be viewable by other users and visitors.
Private books are not listed publicly, but you remain responsible for their content and for links or exports you share.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for content, names, images, references, and prompts you submit.

4. AI-assisted features

Book and image generation features use AI services and may produce unexpected or imperfect results.
You should review AI-generated output before sharing it publicly or using it with children.
Prompts, page text, character details, images, style settings, and related inputs may be sent to integrated AI providers to produce requested outputs.
You are responsible for checking generated text, images, print files, and downloads for accuracy, suitability, rights issues, and print readiness.

5. Book notification emails

You may opt in to receive email notifications when another user saves a new public book whose category matches one or more of your selected favorite categories.
Notifications are sent to the email address associated with your account and may include the public book's title, introductory text, category, reading link, and the same stored cover-preview image shown in Zybrarium's book preview.
Private books do not generate these notifications, and an author does not receive a category-match notification for their own newly saved book.
You can change favorite categories or disable notification emails from your profile.
Email delivery and image display are not guaranteed. Messages may be delayed, filtered, rejected, reformatted, or have images suppressed by an email provider, email application, network, or service outage.

6. Z-Coins and feature limits

Zybrarium uses Z-Coins to meter certain AI actions. Standard users currently receive 36 free Z-Coins per day for Zybrarium.
Each generated image currently uses 3 Z-Coins. This includes generated illustrations, covers, character images created with ZyForge from inside Zybrarium, and other generated builder images.
Free daily Z-Coins refresh around midnight Eastern. Future paid or granted coin balances may be used after the free daily allowance is spent.
Admin accounts may receive unlimited Z-Coin access for testing, support, moderation, and operational use.
Z-Coins have no cash value, are not money or stored monetary value, are not transferable, and may be used only within participating Zideons services that support them.
Allowances, costs, eligible actions, refresh behavior, purchase availability, and account limits may change over time to support operations, manage abuse, or reflect product changes.
You may not attempt to bypass Z-Coin limits, manipulate wallet records, automate excessive generation, or misuse admin, support, or account systems.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Violate laws or third-party rights.
Upload harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or infringing content.
Submit private, sensitive, or identifying information about a child without appropriate authorization.
Use the service to generate or distribute sexual, exploitative, hateful, harassing, violent, or unsafe content.
Attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or other accounts.
Attempt to evade Z-Coin limits, usage tracking, daily refresh rules, or abuse-prevention controls.
Disrupt service availability, performance, or security.
Scrape, copy, or bulk download content except through features intentionally provided by the service.

8. Enforcement and suspension

Zybrarium may remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts that violate these terms or create risk to users, the platform, or third parties.

9. Third-party services

The platform relies on third-party providers for authentication, data storage, and AI generation, including Firebase, Google Cloud, and integrated AI APIs. Their service availability and policies may affect your use of Zybrarium.

If you grant analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 provides aggregate visitor and engagement reporting. Analytics is optional, Global Privacy Control disables it, and Cookie Settings lets you reject or revoke consent. See the Privacy Policy for the categories collected and excluded.

10. Downloads and print files

Zybrarium may let users preview, export, or download books, covers, PDFs, image files, and print packages. These tools are provided for convenience, and you are responsible for reviewing exported files before printing, publishing, distributing, or relying on them.

Print-file downloads may be prepared as a zip package that includes separate PDFs, such as a cover spread, a page 0 file, and interior pages. The app may show a preparation message while these files are generated for download.

Generated files may not meet every publisher, printer, school, platform, or legal requirement. You are responsible for any third-party printing, publishing, or distribution choices.

Preview and export rendering can differ across browsers, devices, PDF viewers, printers, and third-party production workflows. You should inspect all downloaded files, including page order, text placement, image placement, cover layout, page dimensions, bleed, safety margins, and file contents, before use.

11. Disclaimers

Zybrarium is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free content, permanent storage, print acceptance, or that AI-generated output will be accurate, unique, appropriate, or free of third-party rights concerns.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Zybrarium and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

13. Updates to terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
